Animation test of steve running and slipping. It is still very rough, the pacing needs working on. He doesn't fall quick enough, needs a general rework.

Monster Crawl Cycle
Created a crawl cycle for the monster. He will be on all four in scenes of the film especially in the chase sequence. I think it moves quite convincing.

Steve walk cycle
This the cycle we will be using for the scene when Steve walks through the alleyway. I tried to make it as comical as possible. he looks left and right at the different graffiti on the wall.

Monster walk cycle
finished walk cycle for the monster. I've paid special attention to the hands, I want them to look really heavy and weight the monster down as he is walking

Animating Myself
I've decided to take over the rest of the animtion myself, which is bad idea but i want to keep consistency in the animation. Ben and Mutila's animation are not quite up to the standard i wanted for the film.
Here is a sample of Mutila's animation

Camera angle
I've tested camera angles for the chase sequence of the film and i've settle on this one. This shot will allow us to se both steve and the monster in the same shot.

Lighting Issues
Am not too happy with the way the lighting is going at the moment. From the beginning i intended to set the scene in the afternoon but i was swayed a little by the tutors to set it at night.
but i settled for evening setting. At the moment the with the character in the scene it looks very dark and gloomy, and we don't get to see the best ofd the environment which would be a shame as Mutila did a very good job on the modelling.
Also it would be hard to see the monster clearly once it merges into the wall. All the memebers of the group but Ben Woodhead agree with me. Ben wants to keep it at night as he feels he has worked on it for a long time and doesn't want it scrapped. He also feels the film would lack atmosphear if it was set in the day time. I feel it should definitly be brighter.
